UVIR Cut Coating​

UV/IR coating, short for Ultraviolet and Infrared coating, is a specialized optical treatment applied to lenses and other optical components. It selectively blocks or transmits ultraviolet and infrared light, enhancing the performance and protection of optical products. For example, UV/IR coatings are used in camera lenses to reduce unwanted light and improve image quality, while also protecting the lens from damage caused by UV and IR radiation.​
